I just wanted to take a moment to comment on the very well-written article
regarding office romances....
I agree that there are two sides, and in very professional work places
where there is a heirarchy and set professionalism standards, that there is a
risk..and in some places of business it is an out right no-no. All I can say is
that my marriage is a result of a very wonderful (and eh-hem steamy) office
romance. I actually worked with my future husband for three years prior to
starting a relationship with him. And yes, there are many things that you learn
by just being around a certain person first...how they talk to other people,
what their work ethic is, etc....what their wild tales are. Being
"fellow-co-workers" first, then moving to friends, really lets you see the
"real" person. In my case, once we got into a relationship, every quality that
I adored him for prior to this was even more special. I feel that I am one of
the lucky ones! I also see good benefit in working together... it allows us to
see one another throughtout the day, because as we all know...work really cuts
into our social lives !!

marriage proposal on video at the Venetian over this weekend ) !!!
