Yes, Roller Coasters Can Be Even Scarier

What did you do this weekend? We went to Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure. Apparently, guests to this year's Halloween-themed evening event, held at Six Flags theme parks across the country weekends in October, can eat live cockroaches for front-of-the-line access. The Slug didn't see anyone partake of any insect appetizers. However, we did see lots of actors dressed like "Thriller" wannabes, lots of cheesecloth slashed to look like spider webs and a wooden roller coaster that was stuck on the lift hill for almost 20 minutes. Now that's spoooky.
