Are You on the List?

That was another good episode of "Heroes." (Is it just us or is each episode better than the last?) Poor Eden. We'll miss her. So the new slogan "Are you on the list?" isn't quite as catchy as "Save the cheerleader. Save the world." Thankfully, Hiro and Ando explained that those two aren't necessarily linked. While we wait until Jan. 22 to see if Peter is dead, here's our "Heroes" holiday wish list:

1. Do away with the tiresome Nikki/Jessica/Micah/D.L. storyline. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the much larger and more interesting plots, namely Sylar and New York going kaboom. At least leave Nikki/Jessica incarcerated for awhile. Please.

2. Explain how "the list" was created. You had an opportunity during the "Six Months Ago" episode to reveal how Suresh crafted his now-famous mutant compilation. Our theory? Suresh had the special ability to detect people with special abilities.

3. Kill Matt Parkman next — or at least make his mind-reading ability more interesting. Don't get us wrong. The Slug loved Greg Grunberg on "Alias" and we want to love him here, but he always feels out of place whenever he gets some "Heroes" screen time.

4. Explain a little bit more of Pa Bennett's motives. He's quite possibly our favorite character on the show. We now know he answers to someone. Who? The government? Lindemann? The Others? And is he protecting Claire from his boss?

Sweet

I won't miss Eden. I'm sick of people telling me how much I look like her!
